WAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Yeah, yeah. I know it's "beautiful" and "scenic" and all. BUT I'M SICK OF THE SNOW!!! I'm trying to plan my damn garden.

And I had no internet or cable this morning until just now. I didn't know what to do with myself. LoL.

I'm in UpState New York, not all that far from you.
If you call a 4 hour drive not that far. I love driving my new Jeep! Time/miles fly by!

11. You can still "plan" the garden - just not "plant" it yet
It is beautiful - I miss snow! But I don't think I want to live in snowy regions anymore - makes it very hard to get around.

I need to figure out when to start my seedlings though. I start the tomatoes and and such inside.

12. Hee hee I'm psychic--knew what your thread was about immediately!
"Waaaahhh" just about sums it up, doesn't it?

MERRY FUCKING CHRISTMAS.

Don't forget--it's been known to snow in May! Wheee gotta love WNY.

I was thinking of a garden today too. We finally scraped up enough money for a nice high stockade fence to keep the naaaasty nextdoor chilluns from traipsing through our yard and trampling all our growing things (these eedjits--we blame their eedjit parents--are unaware of personal boundaries), so once that goes up, I can till some ground!

'Course, that fence isn't gonna happen till we find the survey stakes...under the snow...and the ground finally thaws for good...Waaaahhh...

P.S. Lovely backyard!

I was in shock when I woke up this morning.

Good luck with the garden. Last year was the first one I had here. It was rather productive. :)

24. I blame the Pilgrims
Damned eedjits wanted someplace "like home", and they found it in the Northeast, plus they really got off on suffering, so they stayed. And 400 years later, here we sit like morons, because we inherited the suffering tendencies. Or something.

I have a yard full of native wildflowers, and on the hillsides the redbud and manzanita are blooming. The foothills have all four seasons.

25. Look on the bright side.
You could live in New York City like I do, where the snow doesn't stay white for more than five minutes. Instead it almost automatically turns into brown slush that hangs around until mid-April.

And I had to drive my grandpa out to your side of town first thing when I woke up today.

Needless to say, after the unexpected need to shovel snow and drive slowly, we were running a little late. :P
