I put someone on my buddy list. Does this person know he/she(gender undeclared) is on my list?
What do I do now? I don't feel any different.
Can someone explain the purpose of this list? Thanks.

It's so you can PM them without having to find a post of theirs.
Some folks use it as a Trollwatch, so they can more easily track tombstones.
