Anyone have Kindle?
Wanna tell me about it? How's the reading quality? Is it worth $399 in your opinion?

1. I don't have one, because I do not think it's worth $399.
I might pay $20.

But the thought of reading a book off a screen is not at all attractive to me, excepting that it can hold a lot of books for far much less weight and space than the actual books.

But not at $400 for something unproven.

I'll wait for version 5.

3. I travel a lot
I also read a good bit, so I MIGHT pay that much to save dragging books with me. Don't know how I feel about reading off a screen, though.

4. I could be tempted even for $100.
And it certainly is far more than just a way to read books - it has all that fancy content and wireless and whatnot.

But I learned many years ago to never jump on the Version 1 bandwagon of anything. :7 I just don't have the time or the money to play that game. I'll wait until the stuff is cheaper and a million users have added their input and the thing's been redesigned a few times.

6. I'm not sure it's worth it
I read a lot, but for $399 you can get in iPhone with much more functionality.

And if I'm gonna be reading all my materials electronically, they damn well better start printing in color. None of this B/W BS.

I'm wating for the LED coatings that you can spread on a roll up sheet. If National Geographic looks good on it, then I'll consider buying it.
