Not only is it cheaper, you don't have to deal with the public and waiting for stations.

The gym provides cleaning moistened towels and they are too lazt to use them. I think these are the kind of lazy jerks who leave shopping carts in the parking space whe the cart pard is across the way.

I also hate it when people leave the treadmill or elliptical and don't turn their TVs off.
