It was a beautiful early spring day here in Ohio

I sat here at my computer talking to friends online. Nothing happened really. Nobody had to fight for their lives. Everyone I talked to was friendly. I sat out on the patio for a while and listened to the birds and looked up toward the sky and I saw nothing malevolent. Just me sitting in a comfortable chair and having a beer and a smoke. I wish I could say that about my brothers and sisters over in Iraq.

I don't believe in God, but I'd like to think if he were there that he would grant some grace on those who serve over there, and to all of you, and to all of you who just wish they could get along. Bless you all.

I don't believe in god in the traditional sense, though I do feel we are all connected to each other by our souls...
