Stupid question: How do I post videos?

Do I just paste the link to the you tube video? Or, how do I get the video directly in my post? I apologize for my stupidity. Any help would be appreciated. :-)

just paste the link in your message. i think the only place on du where you can embed videos in a post is the political video forum (but i could be wrong)
