3. There's no way a best ever UCLA basketball moment was in the '90s
They squeezed one title in that era. Nice feat but UCLA basketball by definition is '60s through the Walton era, actually through '75.

It would be like finding one lonesome Montreal Canadiens' title long removed from their peak years, like the year they beat the LA Kings, and claiming it featured their best Stanley Cup moment ever.

A best moment ever doesn't have to be a desperation reprieve. That's the pathetic fallacy of March Madness. The blowout games this year are awesome to witness, the late 3 point garbage meaningless.

Dominance qualifies as best ever, so UCLA has plenty of choices. One year, late '60s, they massacred Houston and Elvin Hayes in a rematch after losing the ballyhooed regular season matchup in the Astrodome.
