Get my other eye done Monday morning |
|
I had the cataract removed from my right eye two weeks ago Monday. Recovery has gone pretty smooth, and I have great distance vision with my right eye, but it doesn't want to cooperate with my left. LOL Before the surgery, my left eye was always the dominant one. Vision in my right eye was corrected to 20/80 and I had monoculor duplopia (or something that sounds kind of like that ) which amounts to double (sometime triple) vision even with one eye.
Now I have almost 20/20 in my right eye and it is so much better than my left that my vision with both eyes is kind of like looking in a fun house mirror. Also, the difference is almost like I have sunglasses on my left!
When I get the other one done I should only need reading glasses.

1. I'm glad the right eye is doing so well. |

Best of luck with the other. I'm sure you're looking forward to ditching the glasses.

Now I just need reading glasses. They sat me up when they finished and the doctor asked "How is it" My reply "Everything is in focus."
