DU Auction - thank you bidders

The DU auction was a great success, and we'd like to thank Rabrrrrrr again for his extremely generous donation. The highest bidder is Insider who bid $400 and we will be contacting them shortly to arrange payment and delivery of the painting of their choice.

I wasn't around when it ended - went shopping for a new frying pan, decided to go to SOHO to get it, and so ended up cruising galleries and ended up buying a Winnie the Pooh sericel as well (as a gift, though i admit, I'll be hanging it in my apartment until I can give it to the recipient). Oops!

The Rabrrrrrr Club will, en masse, systematically deconstruct every airport on one day and leave nothing but piles of rent brick and steel and the cries of screaming mothers.

Selling flowers, indeed - just the kind of uninspired ideas I'd expect from someone who isn't me.

(I think it's the airport deal that finally gets the Rabrrrrrr Art Club into the attention of the feds)

I'm so happy to be one of the first. :-) The people in Austin are going to be mad, though. Their airport is pretty new. Oh well...anything for enlightenment.
