Thank you, Ric Flair - for 35 years of dedication to the business.
Politics aside, I am watching Wrestlemania (Yes, I'm an idiot to fork over $55 to Vince McMahon - but I'm a sucker for wrasslin'), and I just witnessed both Ric Flair's induction to WWE Hall of Fame last night and watched his retirement match. It was a definite classic, and I could tell Shawn Michaels was definitely reluctant to pin him. It was really classy of him to get the mess done with, kiss him, and leave for Ric to take in the applause for his 35 years of working this business. I have been a wrestling fan for almost 25 years, and I have loved to hate Ric Flair, but you know, he gives his all every time he takes the ring, and for that, he has won my admiration of his hard work.

For Ric Flair, please enjoy your retirement and much more! :toast:

2. Flair lost tonight?
Damn.

Oh well, seems proper. Go out stylin' and profilin' on Wrestlemania...the biggest show that can be offered.

I started watching wrestling in 91 . . . and I remember my Uncle going holy shit when he appeared on WWF Television.. and explaining to me the significance of it. . .

I've watched a lot of Ric Flair matches via DVD, tapes, and Download since. From his Steamboat battles in 89.. To Wrestling Jumbo Tsuruta in Japan in 83 . . . to freakin Ladder Match with Edge a while back. Hell I even watched him and Bruiser Brody go at it 2/3 falls.

Never got to see him wrestle live.. but I saw him live twice. Once when he was in WCW... and a few years ago on RAW when he chopped Carlito for being a disrespecting shit (WHOOO!!!)

Hell My Mom even ate ice cream with him once lol.

Can't wait to see the retirement match.... His H.O.F Speech was fucking fantastic (And that was the edited down version.. can't wait to see the whole thing)

8. Yep. I watched his HOF speech last evening. It was pretty cool.
Especially what he said about his first two wives. He sounds like a guy who has a decent streak.
