WTF, Picture of Hitler in the book "Little red riding hood "

I was reading my son “Little red ridding hood” and low and behold on the wall of Grandma’s bedroom a picture of Hitler. Has anyone else heard about this?

Two other people agreed that the picture is in fact Hitler.

I think a case could be made that this was meant to be Hitler. However, German uniforms were gray, while British and US uniforms of WW1 were brown and that mustache was very common pre 1940. I have pics of my relatives that look similar, and they aren't Hitler.

Anyone know anything about the illustrator?
