I have to admit, I love mine and can't wait to up the strength. I got so tired of not being able to read w/o my reading glasses.

because you can't see the steps.
You'll get used to them eventually, though, and wonder how you ever got along without them.
Personally, I prefer contacts and reading glasses, but I don't know when I'll be able to wear the contacts again-- had one cataract operation and need another one soon.
(Argued with the doctor that as long as I was getting a new lens it should give me 20/20 but they said no for some reason that still eludes me.)
