35. Well, that depends. Do you have whiskers?
I hate whiskers or stubble. But you can bite my cheek or neck a little bit. Or my butt, LOL! If you are a nice guy, I might even plant a big smooch on your cheek. :D

I feel obligated to warn you though, that my dog is very protective of me. He may lick or kiss you to death.

If you click my Journal, you'll see a pic. HOWEVER, your dog will easily be won over by my karmic projection. Dogs get it...I've had fighters jump in my lap.

I run a rescue. I think they sense that.

So...is my mouth still welcome on you?

41. Well,
I know you are an animal lover like me, so I know you'd have my hardly vicious pooch wrapped around your finger in no time. I swear, if I ever had a burglar, I'd have to throw my dog at the burglar to accomplish any protection at all!

As far as your whiskers go, well, I'm queer. But I love men too, and would never turn down a friendly smooch. So yes, your mouth is welcome, but preferably on the cheek, okay?

BTW, I love your efforts with animal rescues, and admire that very much. I have rescued two cats and one dog, and can't do anymore now.

18. Love them but they mustn't be overcooked
Overcooking releases sulfur compounds in the vegetables that give it a distinctive smell commonly found unpleasant. If correctly cooked, the unpleasant smell is avoided and the vegetable possesses a delicate nutty flavour. (wiki)

:D

I must say, I've never put myself in a situation wherein I'd be eating brussel sprouts, so I'm hard-put to have an opinion of them. Never tried them, never tasted them, etc. But it does appear you've been left to twist in the wind by your peers & fairly piled-on by brussel-sprout huggers. *tsk* It's a real shame.

37. Once or twice a year I'll have a few.
I don't know why I decide to have them. It's a mysterious craving or something.

They have to be par-boiled to soften them, and then sauteed with garlic, salt and pepper.

42. I am crazy for Brussels Sprouts
You cut them in half, face down in a pot or a pan (depending on if you want to fry 'em or steam 'em) and add onions and garlic or not, and cook them hot and fast but make sure they are soft all the way through.

Then, you can mash them up with you fork on your plate and drown them in some melted butter.

Add salt.

Eat them with whatever -- goes great alone too.

Like I said, I am crazy for Brussels Sprouts.

My mom used to boil them when I was a kid and nobody in the house would eat them but her, which seemed just fine with her. They made the whole house stink like dirty socks, so I don't remember when it was I found out I actually liked them.

45. Love them! But have to steam them with one of those fanned out metal steamers in the pot
So the water doesn't touch them, just steams them. When they're done to perfection, I slice them in half so they soak up the REAL butter. Can't get enough when they're in season, so expensive when they're not.

Yes, they do stink up the house. So, once cooked, rinse out the pot. Pour 2-3 cups of water in the pot with 2-3 tablespoons of any type vinegar and boil for 20-minutes or so. Clears the scents out of the house (I do that after cooking fish too, works every time.) Ymmmm! Funny I would never eat green veggies as a kid - but I sure love Brussel Sprouts as an adult.

48. the brussel sprout is a noble vegetable....
Cut off the stem end. Slice sprouts in half lengthwise. Saute the cut side in a little hot olive oil with a few halved garlic cloves until nicely browned. Flip 'em over and add a few tablespoons of your favorite stock to the skillet. Cover and steam for a few minutes until just tender. Season with salt and pepper. Yummy.
