Life is not fair sometimes |
|
There's this guy I work with who drinks 6 liters of Mountain Dew a day, drinks 2 fifths of whiskey a week, and eats whatever he wants. He is 6'1" and 170 pounds.
I consume 2000-2500 calories a day, don't drink any pop (not even diet), drink about a gallon of water a day, and drink a 12 pack of beer a week. I'm 5'10" and 240 pounds.
We are both 35 years old and get the same amount of exercise, which is at work. Next time I get reincarnated I'm picking skinny people genes. I do have one thing on the guy, though. I still have all of my teeth. His were casualties of all that Mountain Dew. He wears false teeth now.
The guy is not happy with his body, though. He says he wishes he had my build. If he thinks he could have my build and treat his body like that he'd soon find that he'd weigh 400 pounds.

1. Why would you want to drink 6 liters of Mountain Dew a day anyway? |
|
That's just disgusting. And 2 fifths of whiskey a week is also disgusting. Besides, I bet his liver looks like something my cat barfed up.
You need to find a better role model...

4. He's not my role model |
|
Wouldn't you like to be able to eat anything you want and not put on weight?

9. I understand what you're saying but it's just not realistic |
|
Nobody can eat anything they want and not have any consequences. He's got no teeth and like I said, his liver is probably nonexistent. And what I would like and what really is are two separate things.
I guess I don't spend a lot of time wishing things were different - if I did, I'd never get anything done. Just realize that even though he may carry less weight, you're probably healthier.

Be happy with yourself.
Always remember...people see you differently than you see yourself. I know that there are plenty of women out there that like larger men.
Lose weight if you want for your health...not because of the way you perceive yourself.
Or, stay the way you are.
It is all good my friend.

5. A liter, isn't that one of the BIG bottles? |
|
If so, six liters of Mountain Dew every day is outrageous! No WONDER he has no teeth!

7. Yeah. It comes out to about 15 cans a day |
|
The guy also drinks a pot of coffee and smokes 3 packs a day. He's probably already cut his life short by quite a bit even if he were to start being healthier now. Diabetes will probably get him.
