7. We're still working on it.

They were very nice, but oy. They told us we didn't file in 2006, which of course we did, but just in case brought our copy with us. She said, "Yes, it's in the system and you actually got a refund!" We knew this.

Then halfway home, she calls Mr.'s cell to tell him that she was mistaken; it ISN'T in the system, so back down I go only to discover that this particualar agent, after telling her that we were on our way, had left for the day. The wait time at 3PM was long enough to move everyone over to the next day, so I just left. I'll go back tomorrow. :banghead:

and his calculations were incorrect, so we paid them $25,000 today and will pay off the rest next month.
