I really can't stand the people I work with.
I don't mean to sound like Rodney Dangerfield, but I don't get any respect. They barely even listen to anything I have to say and I am almost never included in the planning for our filed activities. I want out of here so badly. The problem is that people somewhere else might be worse.

1. Most likely, a job change would be better and not worse.
It also depends on what field you work in. I say that because if it is a call center or Customer Service field, it's awful no matter where you go.

Otherwise, more info needed before I ramble on and on.

3. I work for the state
I am a biologist, or, more accurately a fish and wildlife tech (all that means is we do all the grunt work LOL). I just feel like no one ever listens.

2. yikes.
I am sorry.

Start looking for a new job and when you get it, tell them to shove it (in a professional and diplomatic way of course :P)

6. I am living for that day
The problem is that most jobs in my field will likely involve moving somewhere and I just started seeing someone really nice. Someone I should have met years ago. So there is that dilemma. On the one hand I need to find a new job for my mental health and, on the other, a great potential relationship that will likely disappear if I move.

5. My work life has made me improve my personal life so much .
It made me appreciate my family, myself and the fact that I won't be in my job forever.
