Please don't beat yourself up. Most everyone treat their folks badly when they're in their teens. It sorta comes with the territory. Young people need to rebel.
You're helping your dad now -- that's what counts.

and mine are to me right now. I still took in both of my parents and my FIL. My mom and I had the most incredible relationship when I graduated from school. I miss her terribly and I will always treasure it.
