Divorced parents -- have any of you ever shared a duplex with your ex?

My ex and I are contemplating this possibility. We've been divorced 7 years and our relationship is mostly amicable. There is NO possibility of a reconciling nor hanky panky (I don't think of him that way at all any more). The reasons are mostly financial and logistical. I know I'm fine with letting him do his own thing (overnight guests or whatnot) but I'm a bit concerned about his respect for my privacy. Otherwise I'm thinking it sounds like it might be a good situation at least until the kids are in college (another 5 or 6 years). Anyone offer any advice?
