LAST ROMANCE The mirror tells me I'm too old My mind says 'that's not true.' My heart is up and ready To fill itself anew. They say that love is for the young Yet I'd welcome it once more, The child in me still has a song, 'Amour, amour, amour.' Older love is not afraid to take a final chance, We've known a pain and hurt before, I want a last romance. Today I feel so good and fit, I'll thank God in prayers this eve, We know not what tomorrow brings But he's out there I believe. Older love is kinder and is treated with more care, A love that comes in older years, So fine, so calm, so rare. Here's to you, my last romance, wherever you may be, Tarry not, time's on the run, It's time for you and me.

Now that's nice!
Have you posted poetry before?
I do too, from time to time...
Keep 'em coming!
Oh, and I agree with the sentiments!

and they will announce on 4/12. I don't write poetry too often but can't resist a contest. Thanks for the kind words....
