A funny confession re: Trek geekdom

So when my then-future-wife and I moved in together, I had a bunch of tapes of science fiction films and similar stuff that she'd never care to watch.

A portion of my VHS library was made up of ST:TNG tapes I'd copied from a friend who had made his own tapes in no particular order, putting non-consecutive episodes on a single cassette.

As time passed I recorded over some of the tapes, but I seldom changed the labels due to laziness, etc.

Well, eventually my then-future-wife noticed one of them and confronted me about the contents of the tape. It was still labeled with the names of the TNG episodes it had formerly held. They were:

The Best of Both Worlds, Parts I and II
Menage a Troi

Try convincing a non-Trekker that these are not, in fact, porn films.

I was on a 14.4 modem, and I don't recall being able to get much utility out of IMDB.

I think I wound up pointing out tapes of the actual episodes the next time we were at a Blockbuster, or wherever...
