I've discovered the world's greatest litter box.
Sure, it doesn't matter to you. Your cats probably sit down when they pee, rather than peeing over the side of the box like my Shadow. But for me, this is major!

1. My cat had that problem.
I got a massive plastic bin (3ftx2ft by 2.5 feet high) and cut a small opening in the side. It takes 3 of the super massive jumbo litter packages to fill. Kitteh could try to piss out of it her hardest. Aint happening.

2. Where'd you find this?
And is it all Rubbermaid stuff?

Widget (my 16 pound male cat) leaves clumped litter the size of softballs. He pees like a dog. And he backs right up into the corner of the box...

5. Happened upon it at Menard's
last week, while visiting my dad. I haven't had to wipe up any pee off the floor since.

9. We don't have Menards here
but I did find it on the Petsmart website. Looks like the answer for Widget and his incredible bladder...

Thanks!

:)

14. OH. MY. GOD.
We don't have Menard's here, but we did back in Nebraska. Just reading that name caused the horrifying jingle to start playing in my head.

"Saaaave biiiig money at Mennnnnaaarrddss!!!"

12. My dad's side of the family is DOC, and I've done interim ministry for them
at two churches in central Illinois. I love the DOC, and wish we'd just merge already!!

Thanks for your kind words!

7. Brilliant!
Pip Cat likes to fling litter all over the bathroom for no obvious reason. I suspect she'd find a way to defeat this, but it might help me even the score!

...at least that's what the outdoor cats in our neighborhood have always told me...:D

OK, technically it's a garden tub, that I am using for a real garden, but without the chicken wire on top the cats think it's a HUGH!!! litterbox

17. My cat is too dumb to figure out that one side is lower than the others,
so he'd never find his way into the thing. If he did find his way in, he'd probably just back up to the low side and pee on the floor anyway. Aside from that, you may really have found the greatest litter box ever...

21. Or try one of the littre boxes with the lid. That way they never make a mess outside the box.
