1. Supposedly they're working on new material. |
|
Which I'm all for, as they can do no wrong in my eyes (or ears).

2. They always are. There is no "off" position on the GENIUS switch. |

One of my favorite DEVO tunes of all time is their cover version of NIN's "Head Like A Hole"
It's not just that they did the song BETTER than that one-note-wonder Trent Reznor who did it first, they did it better years after they no longer officially EXISTED.
I have it on my CD player in the kitchen- first track is Murray Head's "One Night In Bangkok" with the full intro by the London Symphony Orchestra, then DEVO's "Head Like A Hole"...
Track 3 is Motorhead's "Ace of Spades"; by the time I'm into track 3, my skillets are hot and I'm working hard with a big knife!

Mothersbaugh has always kept himself busy.
I remember watching the Jackie Chan movie Supercop, and sure enough, the title song at the end was him...and the song is awesome.
When I was younger Girl U Want was THE song I had to play when I DJed. It was my opening song almost all the time.
