What's your favorite pop song?

I've decided mine is "All I Wanna Do" from the Beach Boys' "Sunflower" album. A pop song needs a perfect melody, and a unique, gorgeous arrangement. Here we have Fender bass doubled with fuzz bass, organ, a spare 12-string guitar riff, a piccolo snare, and undoubtedly Mike Love's finest vocal and lyrical contribution--you won't even recognize him as the shabbily bearded balding bully he was at that time. This is one you have to play loudly when it's pitch dark and you're alone in the house, but through headphones so your neighbors upstairs won't complain.

I can't imagine why American critics didn't issue raves for this album as the UK critics did. The song is beautiful.
