Heels are for bedroom shennanigans - not everyday wear
Honestly, I'm sick and tired of seeing women hobbling around like they have their feet bound (that is, unless they happen to be strippers)

Heels should be taken off the menu for office wear, and sent to wear they belong - the bedroom!

Honestly, if office culture didn't make women wear heels, women might be more apt to wear them for between-the-sheets fun.

1. No.
Women should wear whatever the heck they feel like wearing, in the bedroom or out.

5. Well exactly
I'm just saying that the only place heels make sense is in the bedroom

7. I don't see why.
I don't wear heels every day, but I do own some. They make sense on my feet wherever I happen to be, because I like them.

12. Oh, they can kill your feet. Definitely not arguing that point.
But, not always. I guess I'm one of those rare women who can manage them. It may be because I don't wear them every day, and I don't buy cheap shoes. A well made shoe that fits correctly makes a difference.

6. I avoid heels like the plague
in and out of the bedroom! :P

I don't want to fall and hurt myself in either place!

Actually I don't know of many offices that make women wear high heels, well not in my non-profit world, anyway.

10. No office I worked at required them, either.
But, office jobs were where I usually wore them, because sitting at a desk all day doesn't hurt your feet. Retail was another matter. I made the mistake of wearing heals once then, and that was it.

15. yeah, but you have to walk to the desk!
:P

that's why so many women would wear running shoes, I guess.

I'm a boot person. I wore slides once back in the 80s and that was the end of it for me. Flats or slight heel only from then on, or my tai chi teacher starts lecturing about foot problems women have....

18. They just don't bother my feet
unless it's hours of walking or long periods of standing and then I only wear sneakers or walking shoes. I was blessed with heel feet, I guess :) Plus, I think heels are gorgeous, and aren't superfluous torture devices for all women, even if they aren't the absolute best thing for your feet. Anyway, my point in this thread is that I don't get why heels need to be confined to the bedroom, or anything else a woman might happen to enjoy wearing. I'm not all about the heels, though. I do love a cute flat as well, and the shoes that get the most wear day to day are my walking shoes.

9. Heels are a big no-no in the lab
However some of the office workers wear them. But they are certainly not mandatory here for women (even though I work in Corporate HQ for a large international firm)

16. Shoes in bed? Not gonna happen.
I don't mind dress shoes. I don't wear super high ones, but dress high heels can be very attractive.

17. Heels in bed suck
I had a girl who insisted on it once. ALl I could think of was that she'd been walking around the street in them and now was transfering whatever filth she stepped onto my bed.
