I'm so friggin' happy today! - WooHoo!! |
|
Finally, after waiting for quite awhile (including waiting to vote out the Rethug governor) and all the backlog of applications the state experienced when everyone applied for the "universal health care plan" in Massachusetts, today I got my approval letter AND I also got approved to see a dentist!! And they may be waving any fee's that my son may have to pay due to his pre-existing condition!! (I had to fill out a 12 page supplement for him with supporting documents- ugh! ) Now all I have to do is find a doctor for the both of us and that's when my coverage begins! I don't have one but they're sending me a list. (Why they didn't send the list with the confirmation letter is a good question.) My old Dr. sold his practice and they aren't taking new patients. :( But now I can see the doctor, get new eyeglasses and get my teeth fixed!! :woohoo: :woohoo: I'm so relieved! :woohoo: :woohoo:

I can bet you're happy!
That is outstanding news!
Relief is certainly the word...
Nothing like having good health care!

It's just been driving me crazy and we're lucky that we both have not been sick enough to have to see a doctor in the last year and it was during the last governor's administration that dental care was cut for everyone. :grr: But now I can finally get that work done and move on! Yeah!!! :D

6. I agree. MA was the 'test' state, I think. |
|
Since then, a lot of what I'd heard candidates saying about universal health care was exactly what Mass. was doing here.
