Woke up this morning, a Sopranos gripe session
Edited on Sun Feb-15-04 06:58 AM by DS1
Got yourself a gun
Your Mama always said you'd be
The Chosen One.

woke with this in my head, I started out a huge fan of the series, I'd borrowed the DVD set of Season 1 and couldn't stop watching it.

Now I feel betrayed by HBO, they've seemingly taken the X-Files approach to writing episodes. Huge plotlines disappear in the span of a week, namely the Russian in the woods. I'm not a big fan of the X-Files either, week after week Scully would see some of the most bizarre shit imaginable and still remain a skeptic. Besides the obvious months of paperwork and ensuinng psychological exams, she'd be back out there, playing skeptic.

I watched season 2 of the Sopranos like any other religious fan of it, by season 3 I'd only watch it if I caught it, or friends put it on.

I'll probably skip season 4, and don't even care. Funny how these things turn out.

1. Just like movie sequels,
rarely is the second (or 3rd or 4th) time around worthwhile.

Get your cat inside, DS1.

5. and whatever happened to Dr. Melfi's rapist? . . .
I also hope to see them resolve the plot line about the Russian "interior decorator" . . . that was one of the best episodes of any tv drama ever, imo . . .
