Sure enough. Next class I had to take from him I didn't even bother to buy the textbook and I got that B+. He was an arrogant religious SOB who went on to write a biography of a right wing fundie presidential candidate. I was a politically progressive woman who did not share his faith. There was no way he ever was gonna given me an A. Impossible to earn with subjective grading of essays and papers when they are not submitted annonymously.

Got an A, with comments only on the first two pages.

No comments on the other 8.

Given the teacher, I can safely assume he just got lazy and didn't bother to read the rest.

I know some students who would take advantage of teachers like this by writing nonsensical or hilarious phrases on page 8 or 9.

Nothing like getting an A when a main point in your essay is "Jackdaws love my big sphinx of quartz".
