I'm really pissed at my son's college
He is graduating from Northeastern in Music Technology. The school has so kindly schedule what is the final and ONLY performance for graduating seniors on a Wed evening. I just started a new job and have limited leave, I can't take two days off to go up for it. Considering the school has a music technology curriculum and a multimedia curriculum you would think that they could produce a DVD of the event or stream it online. Because my son asked one of his professors they will be doing an audio recording. Shouldn't this be a Junior level project? After all that is what UofMiami does where my nephew graduated from. This should be a major affair for the department but they have done nothing to promote it or make it visible despite wanting to expand the department. My son has decided that the alumni association will not get one dime out of him after this and I feel the same way. Screw them.
