It's Friday night...how's your cat (s)?
Scarlet (the one on the left) was diagnosed with CRF 3 months ago...doing well, stable, happy and active! Melanie (her sister) is healthy. :)

1. Our tabby is chock full of kittens, getting ready to burst. The last time...
I saw our black cat, she was sitting on top of the garage looking at me like I might feed her.

2. I think they may be plotting my assassination.
It will probably have something to do with smothering me in my sleep. Duke has been practicing at about 3am every morning.

When my two were just a few weeks old, I'd often wake up to see
them looking down at me--one on either side of the pillow...wondering what I was doing. I think the braething fascinated them.

7. We had a cat long time ago hopped up on the refirgerator...
..don't know if it was the heat or the gentle rumble, or both!

17. How old are they? Mine are 13, and when it's cold, they'll still get
very playful in the night and chase each other. amazing that such small creatures can make such big thuds with their paws!

...gotta be the reason for 13-year-old cats to get up at all!

22. Awesome thread idea!

Gray is responding very, very well to the anti-inflamatory shots. He has regained some use of his back leg because the cancer isn't pressing against the nerves as much.

The cancer is visibly larger now, and seems to be growing in two connected but distinct lumps. He's not in pain, so his quality of life is excellent. I'm making sure he enjoys it as long as he can.

Silver is no longer hiding. He's healing from his surgery and being playful and persistant again. He should make a full recover very soon.

I'm bouncing up and down celebrating how well they're both doing. :bounce:

We have mice in the garage and she has been out here with me (my computer is out here) and she just sat on the dryer watching them run across the floor.

31. Yup, cats grow out of that palyful stage must earlier than dogs...
...I wonder what goes on in a dog's mind when they've grown up with a cat and the cat suddenly can't be bothered with him??

Cute photo again!

33. Being boarded at the vet a block up from my sister's house
and stretching the staff a bit thin - four of them got the sniffles from the stress of the trip, and Imhotep had a bad couple of days. Everybody got a lot better once we got here and visited them.

I wish I knew when we're going to get our own place. I'm going to owe my sister brazillions of $$$ after this.

34. Celebrated a birthday last night...
His Imperial Majesty, Chester I (may the heavens rain odors on him!), turned sixteen yesterday. He's the only one of our critters whose birthday we know, so all the kitties shared a plate of salmon.
