Good morning everyone.
The sun is shining; Brightly.

Here in Western New York State; Boondocks.

The earth is covered with snow; Deep.

Lake Erie is covered with ice, as far as one can see; Disarrayed.

And boy! It is cold; Really!

3. Mornin' - Raining here. A mild Pinapple Express
Rain covers the area. The air warms with the rain's arrival so I know it is just off the pacific. Large drops and sheets. All the firs and cedars bow under the water and the wind makes them into water-flinging whips sending wet assualts on the steel roof.

The cat sleeps in his milk crate outside the front door, only opening one eye long enough to scan the can of food I bring him. He will eat later; to rise now his fur would have to confront the splashes from the ridge line. Yaaaaawn, and back to sleep. Still dark, good cat dream weather.

Here in PNW we call nighttime Pinapple Express rains, the 'sleeping rain'. For those who can sleep, this rain pelts the roofs and all surfaces, randomizing any noise at all and harmonizing with your dreams....

it is fine sleeping rain. I wake into it, the noise of it all about my old bald head. I struggle to hear the water on the stove boil over the noise of the rain. But once coffee and soymilk have bonded into morning beverage, I climb the stairs to the loft, sit in the hammock under the skylight and am absorbed into the sheets of water washing off the glass as I sip and ponder...

good morning universe, what's up for today?

5. Hey Junker!
Very poetic, nice! I was there twice. Long ago. Came there aboard a MARS seaplane. Wow!

Edited on Sun Feb-15-04 09:31 AM by JitterbugPerfume
I look out the window toward our small lake and I can not see it --just smow

When spring gets here I plan to frolic
How does one frolic?

9. Bandaloop! Breathe Bandaloop, and then let the mind go and the body
will follow. Frolic is as frolic does.

Now all with me for your bandaloop breathing this morning....one two....

10. Much the same here.
The ice has been melting. I was finally able to clear most of the driveway yesterday.
