In the US, we use the the comma to denote thousands and the decimal point to denote a fraction.
In Europe, they use the comma to denote a fraction and the decimal point to denote thousands.
WTF DUDE?
did somebody just do this out of spite or what? Who made this the exact opposite? (or am i wrong?)

who was responsible for this spite-based decision? I seriously want to know, because it is a pain in the ass to write software for US and Europe simultaneously because you have to reverse everything.....
