Did anybody learn what happened when you pushed in ALL the buttons on one of those old push button radios?

11. Ye ain't never seed them old-timey radios with th'pushbuttons |
|
that ye cud set t'yer fave station so ye didn't gotta twiddle th'dial tryin to tune in? They'd gonna gotta have six or eight them buttons. They wuz kool cuz one button wuz always in: when ye pushed a differnt button in, why th'button that was in afore would pop out in line with th'ither buttons that wasn't pushed it. See? So there wuz be only one button pushed in at any time. It wuz a most perflexin challenge to some young minds

13. I think it's the opacity: cucumbers contain lots of opacity. And when you put |
|
nice green fresh cucumber slices over your eyes, the opacity works its magic in two ways: (1) other people cannot see the dark puffy rings around your eyes, and even if they can (2) you cannot see other people seeing the dark puffy rings
