Breaking News: Detroit Area Meals on Wheels Buys Controlling Interest in GM and Ford
Volunteers working for the Detroit Area Meals on Wheels were concerned about the high cost of new vehicles to maintain their fleet. So they had a bake sale. It was a very successful bake sale. The profits from the bake sale have not only allowed them to buy a controlling interest in GM and Ford. The money will also allow them, as the new owners of those auto makers, to sell new cars for half the regular price.
