Anyone seen the DVD with the alternate ending? I recently read that they changed the ending because the test audiences hated it and that the DVD includes the original ending which is much more true to the book. Should I bother renting it?

It was worth a rental, if only for the incredible dog who played Will Smith's sidekick. That dog was so beautiful, smart and well-trained I think she stole the movie (at least for me).
