What baseball team do you root for? No smart remarks Orrex!:)
Seems to be a lot of baseball fans here and I want to get a feeling of whom I can trash talk!
My team is the Washington Nationals and I LOATHE the nearby Orioles (Peter Angelos gets a HUGE chunk of Nats TV revenue and kept them off TV for awhile because of his bloodsucking ways) but I grew up being a Cincinnati Reds fan....:)

My dad is from that area, and he passed his love of the team on to me.

I dont pull for the Braves, my closest big league club because of several reasons (one of which is the whole Native American mascot thingee), plus the tix are too expensive when it costs 6$ to see a local game here in Savannah.

39. A GREAT film. It has it all-- love story, great baseball scenes (best ever filmed)
And legendary baseball announcer Vin Scully doing the play by play. It is the best purest baseball film; Field of Dreams and The Natural are more like epics. FTLOTG captures the essence of MLB better than any other baseball film.

Not a baseball fan, but now that I ignore the sport it's so calming. I used to be annoyed at all the baseball threads, here and elsewhere, but now it's simply others enjoying something I do not. Funny, because otherwise I'm not maturing a damn bit.

I used to be a Tigers fan. If the Marlins relocate to the Orange Bowl site, as it appears they will, and adopt Miami as a modifier, I might pull for them a little bit.

I will always and forever be a Pirates fan. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh and the city is in my blood. No matter how bad the product has been the last 15 years, they're still the Bucco's.

I've had the pleasure of growing up idolizing Clemente, Stargell, Maz and the glory years of the 70's and the displeasure of the product that they've put out since.

And I'm hopeful that things may have gotten better. I like John Russell, always have as a player and now as a manager. We have some talent, much more than before, and with any type of committment from the players, this could be a good team within the next couple of years.
