Anyone watch the JOHN ADAMS miniseries on HBO?
I like it, but I LOVE the theme song/title sequence, which I earlier found on YouTube. I don't think anyone knows what the song's called yet, but it's really strangely addicting...I call it a cross between some demented Irish jig and a more traditional military song.

1. That is pretty nice
I only just started reading the book and so far I'm enjoying it immensely I'm looking forward to when I can rent the DvDs of the series.

Late last year the Boston Public Library put on a display of Adam's personal library collection and including some of his letters, it's fascinating stuff.

2. Yeah, he's really interesting.
My mom has the book upstairs--I'm going to have to read it, eventually. I'm just enjoying the miniseries and its soundtrack in general...pretty awesome, especially on our 50" plasma. :)

3. Yep, will watch episode 4 tonight
I don't live in the states, so have been downloading it from torrents. We have really enjoyed it so far... The high definition version is really good.

I have a paltry 42" Sony letterbox shaped projection .... :(

And before I get accused of being a complete corporate consumptionist... I bought it recycled! However, it is SONY and has excellent quality.

7. Yes, and we are loving it.
We've watched the first three so far. Extremely well-written and well-acted, and yes, I like the theme song too.

10. I tried but just couldn't get interested in it.
Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney are so horribly miscast in those roles that I found it distracting. The pacing is slower than slow. I liked the book much better.

Both the series and the theme song.

Glad to know after "The Wire" ended there is still top-notch programming on HBO. (Although "In Treatment" looked dreadfully boring beyond words.)

How many more installments are there?
