4. I wasn't around for the first three...

but first cassette was an audio tape that went with a Return of the Jedi illustrated kid's book. (Yes, I was a geek from a very young age.) Had music and narration, and it gave a little R2D2 whistle/beep when it was time to turn the page.

First CD was... hmm... I think it was Metallica's black album, but don't quote me.

LP - don't honestly remember. My Mom was a librarian and used to buy records for the library and bring them home for us before they went out on the floor (so to speak) and were ruined, we listened and made tapes of if we wanted to when I was a kid. We used to give her a list of records to buy (now you know how the library picks which music to buy :) I do remember we (siblings and I) joined Columbia records but I couldn't tell you anything I bought except when we forgot to send the stupid card back and got a copy of ABBA Voulez-Vous. I remember my sisters first LP purchase, though - Deep Purple, Who Do We Think We Are
45 - The Box Tops-The Letter
8-track - never bought or owned one
cassette - I was an LP person, used to make copies of my LPs onto tape if I needed a tape
CD - I think it was REM - Reckoning. I was looking for Tears for Fears, The Hurting but it wasn't available.

13. Sorry, I had to give up jogging
Edited on Tue Apr-08-08 03:07 AM by Connonym
I couldn't find a bra that was supportive enough :bounce: :bounce:

first 45 something of Elton John's but I can't remember which one
first LP Steve Miller Band's Greatest Hits
first 8 track Journey (don't remember which one)
first cassette, no frakkin clue (ETA maybe Loverboy?)
first CD don't laugh, I mean it, seriously don't laugh, I was the first person I knew who had a frakkin CD player (won it in a radio station contest) and there was barely anything available on CD. Promise you won't laugh? Bananarama. Damn it, you said you wouldn't laugh. CDs were ridiculously expensive back then too.
