Lady techies
So many times when I was doing tech work, people looked at me like an oddity because I was female. Has that ever happened to anyone else? Somehow, they've all expected men to be doing that kind of stuff.

I'm sure there are a lot more women techies than there were 10 years ago, but I'm wondering if others found that kind of chauvinism in their work.

Even at home and with friends, I've become the "one" to come to for help. I finally told one of my relatives that they should do what I do when I need help: I read the manual. :)
