1. Shame.... But I think it may |
|
actually be good for the show. How Monk deals with Dr Kroger's loss will be a very interesting story arc....

|

has to be one of the top ten worst shows ever! The sooner it's off the air the better.

7. Monk is afflicted with obsessive-compulsive disorder, multiple phobias |
|
(wiki) and you think it's FUNNY? Obviously you have never had to deal with those afflicted with the disorder.

|
He uses his phobias to catch criminals.

12. Exactly! His disorders have a redemptive nature. |
|
That's the beauty of Monk...he finds purpose in his "illness".

20. I have those disorders and it makes me feel better. Just like "What about Bob?" |
|
And the fact that he always ends up the hero is uplifting.

In the hallucinatory scene where Nate speaks with his dead father, along with "Life," who was played by an African-American woman.
Anyone remember this scene?

18. I checked him out on IMDB after seeing it. |
|
I was surprised to see he also played Monk's psychiatrist, even though I've seen him on that show.

I adored Stanley Kamel...
He was one of my all-time favorites from those late 60's and early 70's 'Movie of the Week'...He sometimes played the leading man.
More often he was a character actor..he'd play a young distrubed man or a criminal. Whatever role he portrayed he always brought a real passion to it.
Whenever he was to appear on a television show whether a drama, soap or mystery...I'd be there watching.
and I loved his Dr. Kroger role on Mr. Monk's show.
