1. All over Honolulu you see trucks marked "Ham Produce & Seafood"
"Ham" being the name of the family that runs it.

It sounds like a Letterman routine waiting to happen: "Pardon me, sir, do you have any beef?" "No, just ham, produce and seafood." "How about chicken?" "No, sir, just ham, produce and seafood." "Any other pork products besides ham?"

2. Reminds me of an idea I had for a diet
in which all the meat is faked using vegetables, and all the vegetables are faked using meat. ("Ham produce.")

:silly:

6. From their website:
"The Truth:

We beat their prices, we blow away their service, and you don’t end up with a drawer full of socks."

:wtf:

4. OK Seafood.
Name of a seafood shop near my apartment when I lived in MD. Not "Great Seafood", not "Pretty Damned Good Seafood" nor "Fresh Seafood"; "OK Seafood".

Being a veggie, I'd never buy seafood, but if for some strange unfathomable reason, I was in the market...I don't think I'd buy it from OK Seafood.

7. I still miss the closing of the S&M Restaurant in Gatlinburg
We used to drive by and snicker at the name for ages. Alas, last I was there (in 2003) it had finally closed.

It became immortalized in the 70's in an issue of National Lampoon...the "What's Your Sign?" page of reader submitted photos.

"I'd like a cheeseburger and make it hurt!"
