Ah, thank you!

I am always so happy when I can do that...The macro setting works...

It's a Nikon D50 with a Tamron 18mm to 250mm lens...

Completely digital!

I will never take another film pic again!

9. I am nearly making the leap to digital.
The next camera will be a digital, so I'm shopping around. I have used lots of film cameras. I especially enjoyed my medium format Yashica, but it has no zoom.

I have spent the last year with a Pentax, with a nice zoom.

It is time to make the leap. I have been hesitant, because I am afraid once I have a digital, I won't use my film anymore.

I guess if I am happy with the digital, it will all be well.

10. I am loving my digital!
There's a couple of reasons I love it more than film...

First, you never have to worry about how much film to carry!

Memory is cheap! My newest memory chip (2 gigabytes, which holds 564 pictures) was about $50!

And secondly, you don't have to worry about any x-ray machine ever...

The digital images are not affected by x-rays!

You might want to look into getting a Pentax digital, since your SLR lens will most likely work with it...

That is, if your camera is a SLR...

Go for it! And enjoy...

18. Great pictures, Peggy!
But you're spending entirely too much on SD cards! :)

Try ordering 'em from newegg..last time I checked, 2 Gig SD cards were as low as $8.05 each.

You really only need the high dollar super fast ones if you shoot in continuous mode. Otherwise, even with slower (and cheaper) memory, you'll still pop off 3-4 frames before it "pauses" to clear it's buffer to memory. (Yes, I'm a fellow D50 owner, and would never go back to film again.)

Oh, I know I overspent!

But the store where I bought it has excellent customer service, and I like to support them...

Glad you liked the pictures!

Yup...No more film, evah!

21. maybe, possibly more to do with the area they are in. We don't get them as
thick up here in North Texas as they do further south. But they sure are beautiful.

I love bluebonnet season.

Your pictures were very nice. I have not had time to go out and find a good field to photograph

We are just starting with our blooms here. The daffodils are in full bloom, and the Tulips are ready to explode. We also have the little purple bell like thingies ready to explode also.

Sorry, there are NO f-bombs ready to explode though, except for the forscythias (sp?)

I love daffodils, but it's hard to grow them here...doesn't get very cold...

No worries! No f-bombs tonight!

I'm going to write this one down in my little blank book, where I keep quotes that I find especially meaningful...

And I like to be able to say where they came from!

41. Very nice, Peggy!!
The first time I happened across one of those little lizards, I completely freaked out. I was hiking in Runyon Canyon a few weeks after I moved here and I wasn't expecting it. Not exactly a lot of lizards in Nebraska, ya know!

Now I think they're adorable.

And the flowers are lovely too. I'm jealous of your camera!
