Shhhhh! The kitten is napping...
I was taking a nap myself and woke up to find my little guy Pippin snoozing soundly beside me:

1. Three cheers for Pippin Kitten!
I love the pose! Acting as though it's the most natural thing in the world, and wondering why you are staring!

4. He started out on the pillow on the right
and I had the one on the left (but they were pushed together). Kittens so often end up in the most seemingly uncomfortable positions! Here's Oberon at a similar age:

If I'm not in bed Pip just spreads out and enjoys the luxury of having both to himself:

8. It's not just kittens!

Here's Brianna. She's about 8 years old and still loves to stretch out in her back whenever the mood strikes!

Sunbeam + bag on the floor + kitteh = happy!

And here's our Pip Cat!

9. Brianna looks like a Maine Coon
I never met an MC that didn't love to stretch out with it's belly pointed skyward! My Oberon is no exception:

You've got a beautiful pair of moggies there! :loveya:

She's a big girl, with those looooong legs. She also has the chirpy little voice and talkative personality.

Man, are they ever cute!

I don't think there is another creature on the planet that can project comfort and contentment quite like a cat. No matter what's going on in your life, sights like these put a smile on your face.

14. Thanks sammythecat! I agree-and that's one of the reasons I like
working at home. My studio is split into a guest bedroom on one side. I'll get SO stressed out about a pile of deadlines or I'll find myself creatively blocked-then I just turn around and see this:

or

it's hard to remain stressed out in the presence of such relaxation, lol! The only downside is that they look SOOO comfortable that it's hard not to want to join them!

17. I got him late last year. With a mug like this who could resist:

But he's so hyperactive that he drives my other two nuts, so I'm going to get another kitten for my kitten! I'll start fostering again in a week or two, and he'll get to choose his own kitten from the fosters that I bring in. Right now he goes on regular "play dates" next door to play with the neighbor's two kittens, who are about his age:

20. Here's what our Pips is up to these days

He's discovered the pleasures of the sink. It doesn't bother him in the least if he gets wet.

He's also about 9 months now, becoming a fine young man.

23. Ah, what is it about the allure of the sink?
My Oberon would use it as a kitty bed when he was a kitten. Now he's too big for the sinks, lol!

Your Pips looks like he was just caught at something, as if he's saying "Huh? What? I didn't break it! I was dead at the time"! ;-)

29. Ah but you aren't allergic to Siberian forest cats!
http://www.kitten-central.com/kitten-for-sale/siberian-kittens.php

A Siberian kitten is a great choice for the cat lover with allergies - as they do not have FeLD protein in their saliva which creates dander, and are hypoallergenic, or not an allergy problem to most allergy sufferers.

Pip sez " You needs ah Kitteh"!
