Coffee in our small town grocery store |

yesterday was $11.89 for one of the large cans of Folgers. I just don't know what to say about that. Really.

You can order gourmet coffee by the pound with free shipping for less than that. Tastes better too.

Pretty much decided that it's now cheaper to order the fair trade organic from the food coop that we'd rather have anyway. I don't partake but the husband can't seem to live without. Bless his heart, tho, he's been making smaller pots of coffee to make it go farther.
Luckily, I bought a couple of cans when it was $6.99 a couple of weeks ago. :eyes:

3. How many pounds are in a large can of Folgers? |
|
If it's 2 lbs, that's not too horrible a price. Decent whole roasted beans around here average about $9/lb.

And that is an exceedingly horrible price for exquisitely mediocre coffee.
How ya doing tonight? Love the new haircut you posted the other day, BTW. You look so much younger! :hi:
