Today I discovered the other mom who volunteers w/ me in class is a Republican
other than that, she's a very nice woman. :D

I'd made the assumption she was a Dem, as we were talking politics and the primaries, and when she said she was a Republican, I was a bit flustered and said, "Oh, sorry." LOL.

I forget sometimes we're not all on the same page.

6. I don't understand that mentality
like the "Fiscal Conservative" crowd - it's ok to turn your back on equal rights for your fellow human just so you can save some tax money which you're not really saving as the national debt is growing and growing and your money will just get more worthless?

Ok.

4. I honestly don't blame the red state types for being Republicans, even now, considering
the monstrous image of Democrats/liberals that has been built up by right-wing talk radio and the like.

I mean, if you honestly believed that the Democratic Party was a bunch of little-red-book drones out to take away all your freedoms and send you to a re-education camp, would you vote Democrat? I sure as hell wouldn't.

5. What's particularly strange is that we're on the liberal west coast!
in the Santa Cruz mountains, fer crissakes.

We practically INVENTED the words "progressive liberal"! :D

Like I said, I guess we're not all on the same page. heh.

Oh well.

12. Wow, I wish I were from your area !
It is a shock to me when I find a democrat, much less a tree hugging liberal.

Lucky you.
