About the only way we have to tell them apart is by personality.

2. We have found good homes for three of them
We're keeping two and Mom, of course......

We're getting Mom Neutered as soon as the Vet approves, a few weeks past weaning I believe. Mom was a feral that picked out my wife as a nurturing type I guess, she did have two of our three kids in tow at the time...... :)

3. I hope
you have her spayed instead... Neutering a female can be PAINFUL.

a culture that practices female circumcision...then you are correct.

25. I love how you say...
...that she picked out your wife as the nurturing type. How sweet is that. Will she ever read that? That sounds like quite a compliment to me.

15. Hard to tell apart just by looking
They come in two basic sizes bigger and smaller, 4 big, 2 small. There are two shy kittens, three sort of ambivalent kittens and one quite bold kitten.

If you look closely, the patterns of the spots above their eyes are slightly different for each kitten. But right now, we just tell them apart by personality.

My favorite is the bold one, whom we have named Popeye because we're pretty sure he opened his eyes first, and just his right eye at that, a day later both eyes were open and then his siblings opened their eyes about 3 or 4 days later. We're keeping him and one of the other calmer kittens.

32. Sugar, pure sugar.
I love tabbies -- I have 3 gray and 1 orange ranging in size from 12 pounds to 25. They're all old and lazy. How I'd love to have a kitten around to stir things up! But, as Ogden Nash wrote:

The problem with a kitten is that
Very soon it becomes a cat.

My baby boy is a tabby. I found him and his brother when they were two weeks old, as precious as can be. Of course, now he's almost 15.

Thanks for the pix! They are impossibly cute! :loveya:
