Weird thing this morning...
When I was getting into my Jeep this morning to go to work I opened the door and there were two of my smokes sitting on the driver's seat and my middle console door was opened all the way up. The smokes weren't squished and I make my own so I keep them in a metal case they can't fall out of. And the door is pretty long and has to be raised by hand all the way up for it to stay up.

My cd's were all still in the console, money still in the tray and nothing else was taken. WTF?

1. You don't take Ambien, do you?
sometimes it makes you sleepwalk and all...

That's very strange.

2. No, I don't take anything
Edited on Fri Apr-11-08 11:22 AM by johnnie
I thought about the sleepwalking, but I'm not one to sleepwalk and I had a bit of a toothache last night and it kept waking me up all night. I kept trying to remember if I had some dream I was looking for something or something like that, but nope.

This was meant as a reply to lizziegrace

4. I suggest you lock your car when you park it
There are so many things crooks are looking for. Spare keys, GPS systems etc

8. True
I guess they didn't want the money in the tray, the cds and the brand of smokes I smoke. But yeah, it could have been a crook I guess. It was just weird. The cds fill the console and it is about a foot deep, they either didn't feel like looking all the way down or they were nice enough to put the cds back in the console. Neat freak crooks..lol.

16. In the internet age, I don't think CDs have much value
on par with the change. They were looking for the big ticket items

17. They didn't even rifle through the console then
It is about a foot deep and it is filled to the top, I guess I know where to hide anything I don't want taken..lol.

And the weirder things are the cigarettes. How did they get two of my home-rolled cigarettes (from inside my house  ) and then leave them on the driver's seat. The passenger door was locked, so they stepped out of the Jeep and put two cigarettes in the middle of the seat and left. That is weird to me.

10.  Yeah, they didn't take any of The Beatles cds. ha
I had one cigarette left from yesterday in the case that I keep in the Jeep so I took a few out there this morning and two more were somehow put on the seat.

12. Things are pretty good
Not much going on really. Thinking of doing a bit more with the music this year, some recording a gig or two. Just to be a little more active.

Other than that it's been pretty laid back. I come here all the time, I just don't have too much to say I guess. :)

How have you been?

14. I've been taking drum lessons for about 3 years, so I play much better than
I used to. I was jamming on bass (I play that by ear) with some professor friends for a while, but we haven't met recently. I keep thinking I need to find some other folks to play with informally, but work and parenthood plus home repair and all the other stuff I do seems to get in the way. My son takes drum lessons, guitar and some recorder, so we'll see if he likes music as much as I and his dad do.

I'm in a book club (that's pretty cool) and I do tai chi and volunteer work for my kid's school, so I feel like I'm busy all the time.

I've been stuck more in the mod forum and I don't get to lounge as much as I used to.

I have no idea what happened. I'm not claiming it was some supernatural ghost thingie or anything, it was just bizarre to me to find that this morning.

18. Is it possible that they thought it was weed?
Smelled it, realized it wasn't and tossed them in the seat?

19. Well, they have filters
And I only had one in the Jeep and that one was still in the box. The two that were on the seat were right next to each other side by side in the middle of the seat.
