1. I voted "yes" just because he was so obnoxious. Definitely my least favorite character. |

2. Couldn't we compromise? Like maybe just beat him half to death instead? |

Seriously though, Wil Wheaton's actually pretty cool from what I've seen. Not his fault the character sucked. :P

No wonder the aliens who protect the Edo wanted them out for good.
I'm surprised the episode didn't go more into "prime directive" vs "rule and spirit of the law" and all that. But we'd have been deprived of 10 minutes of looking at people oiling each other and engaging in foreplay. :eyes: Season 1 TNG had some potential, but like "The Naked Now" they had no idea what to go do with it. Except for feeding it "Spanish Fly"...

8. Well, the actor who plays him is an active liberal activist |
|
So I say that he should live long and prosper. ;-)

13. He's a liberally active liberal activist who's liberal. And active. And liberal. |
|
But we're talking about killing off the character, not the actual person who plays him on TV. You do get the whole "tv" thing, don't you?

12. I don't think the Prime Directive applies to dumb cultures. |
|
The Enterprise should've nuked those bastards and roasted marshmellows over their burning corpses. That'll show 'em who gets to step on the grass.
