4. She failed the first time, and was feeling like maybe she made a mistake

studying law, but when my daughter told me that, I told her to tell her sister that there are many fine lawyers out there who didn't pass the bar the first time.

I'm gonna have to find her a nice congratulatory gift in celebration.

Right now, she's clerking for a judge in Eugene.

She's spoken in the past of maybe joining the military so she can work for the JAG.

She's probably so excited right now, she's not thinking too far ahead!

12. It's my daughter's stepsister, technically, but "stepsister" seems

to discount the closeness of these two young women. My daughter's dad and her sister's mom married when the girls were 4 years old, and now they are in their late 20's.
