1. Years ago, when the kids were small, and so was the spare cash...
the kids would beg for a happy meal. I told them to save money, I would make their happy meal myself. Hamburgers, home made fries, and chocolate malts. After a couple years, the finances were better. But, by that time they were hopelessly spoiled.

They refused to eat a McDonald's Happy Meal. To this day, it is one of their favorite Mom meals when they come for a visit.

3. Where you get that big old welfare burger?
Did you use wonder bread and a big slice of green pepper for the hamburgers?

5. No green pepper, but the Wonder Bread was a must...
Bought from the outlet store. And yes, I did cut the crust off, and round the edges. I had to make it a reasonable facsimile of. Don't have to do that anymore.
I hadn't seen that Eddie Murphy bit before...parts of it were very nostalgic.

6. Your post remined me of Eddie's great comedy bit instantly but I think
it's great that you taught your kids such a good lesson and that it really stuck!

2. I could teach you, but I have to charge...
That is cool, and very creative.

Thanks.
