Somebody please....Motivate me!!! |
|
Ugh, I had wicked bad anxiety dreams all night and woke up all yucky.
So I sat here for hours doing nothing other than drinking coffee and water and playing online. I did manage to write out my To-Do lists for the weekend the rest of the semester, and did 3 of the 4 things I need to do today (emails). Now, I *have* to get cracking on this stupid scholarship statement, and I don't wanna do it!
x(
I'm just feeling supremely unmotivated today. Blahhhhh.
Kick me in the ass, please!!
:hi:

2. No kick by-baby, but just advice |
|
Step away from the computer and do your scholarship statement now! It's important.
Come back later, though and tell us how you finished it :hi:.

4. Well, I have to do it on the computer so... |

Thanks :)
I have to go out and get printer ink first, maybe that will clear my head a bit. :)

a dry erase board...upon which I wrote down all my deadlines and to do list for this week. I've decided to write the statement tomorrow, as I'll be in the computer lab all day without distraction, and I'll be forced to just do it. Right now I'm printing out articles for a take home exam that's due May 1st.

8. Don't forget to alphabetize the medicine cabinet! |

It's amazing how much you can get done if you're trying to avoid doing something else. :D
You'll get it done, b_b, you're too conscientious not to ;-)

I work much better away from the house, where I don't have a cat and or husband distracting me. :P
Besides, I still need to work on my angle for what I'm going to write. I'm going to do some brainstorming on paper after I print these articles. And, this printing is on my to-do list!

11. The two years I worked from my home office were my least productive... |
|
I'm like you - I need to be away from the house, in a dedicated work-zone. :patriot:

Getting organized is half the battle!! I work better at home on certain things, like reports. The other stuff I have to do at work since I need the OP system. Although the last time I brought stuff home...I had to tell someone to leave me alone. There was pouting after that!
You'll do just as spectacular at this task as you do everything else! :loveya:

15. Ha! Yeah, I work fine at home when it's just me, like weekdays, |
|
but weekends, not so much. Between him and the cat...well, you can imagine. Plus, I'm still recuperating from my Mom's appt on Friday. That really wore me out.
So, I'll spend tomorrow in the computer lab with my iPod, and I'll get it done. I just worked out an outline of the statement, so I feel prepared. It only has to be 500 words or less.
Thank you love... :loveya:

Besides, they're showing Empire Strikes Back again, and I wanna watch it before Return of the Jedi comes on at 8.

You'll be running from the room screaming by the time I get to 1965.
Then again, that would mean you've been motivated to do something. ;)

Are you saying it's boring? I have yet to meet a person with an uninteresting life story. Although there's a first time for everything, I suppose. :P

20. Holy crap, are you my high school French teacher? |
|
:P  I always felt sort of bad for him - the man was brilliant, fluent in at least three foreign languages, but he couldn't teach worth anything. x( Monotone voice, boring stories...I learned virtually nothing in that class, and almost died of boredom. :boring:

In part, I love coffee because it's a drug that promises "Drink me and you'll get things done!" but it LIES. :P
You drink coffee and you're like, "OMG, those CD's are totally out of order... they need to be alphabetized RIGHT FUCKING NOW!" :P
